Dahl, 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Christopher and Clara (Hess) Dahl. His wife, Grace A. (Bernsten) Dahl, passed away in 2012.Stanley served in the U.S. Army 882 Airborne during WWII, serving in New Guinea, Philippines, and a short time in Okinawa, Japan. He retired as a sales manager after 65 years of service.Mr. Dahl came to know the Lord at the age of 13; he remained active in Christian work throughout his life. He was involved in churches serving in Missions, Sunday School, and the Elders. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.Stanley leaves behind his children, Stephen C. married to Janet R. Dahl of Lititz, PA, Karen S. married to Roger A. Nielsen of Bolton, MA, and Paul C. married to Gloria J. Dahl of East Sandwich, MA; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and many friends including Lois Wright of Lancaster.Funeral Services will be on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery. Janeski, 55, of Amsterdam, died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017.Bill was born on Oct. 12, 1961 to William J. and Frances Cavaliere Janeski. He was educated in Amsterdam and was a 1979 graduate of Amsterdam High School. On Sept. 6, 1987, he married the love of his life Shelly Conrad Janeski.As a young boy, Bill was active in sports and the Boy Scouts. He was also an altar server for many years at St. Mary’s Church in Amsterdam. He was a current member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 101 in Amsterdam. He enjoyed gardening and working on his yard. He was an avid hunter and looked forward to his annual week in Maine to hunt with the boys. Bill’s favorite time of year was undoubtedly summer, spending time with the boating community on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Bill has been boating on the lake for over 40 years. He was a friend to all who had the privilege of meeting him and was always there to lend a helping hand. He has left a void that will be hard to fill.For over 30 years Bill worked at Quad Graphics in Saratoga. He was currently employed as vice president of Production/Manufacturing at Asante Sign Group in Gloversville, N.Y., formerly known as Kennyetto Graphics.Bill was predeceased by his dad, William; his mother-in-law, Patricia Conrad; his sister-in-law, Christina Majewski; and brother-in-law, Joseph P. O’Connor.Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years Shelly A. Janeski; his loving mother, Frances C. Janeski; brother, David (Nicki) Janeski; sisters, Karen (Charles) Myers, Joanne (Jeff) Rusnica, Janet (Neil) Buckley and Peggy O’Connor. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Arthur C. Conrad and brother- in-law, Arthur M. Conrad.He was a loving uncle to his 17 nieces and nephews as well as several great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several cousins and his sweet dog Willow.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 156 E.
